While volunteering as a tutor for school children living in homeless shelters in 2007, Kristina became inspired to dedicate her life’s work to empowering nonprofit organizations to make a difference in the lives of others. Soon after, she accepted her first job in the nonprofit sector while attending Indiana University where she acquired a Master of Public Affairs in Nonprofit Business Management and a Master of Arts in Philanthropic Studies. Through her work, Kristina discovered that there was a tremendous need among nonprofit organizations for professional, uniquely tailored grant management services that produce long-term growth and sustainability. To meet this need, Kristina founded Acceso Strategies, LLC (now Kristina Weaver Consulting, LLC) in the spring of 2013. With nearly 15 years of professional fundraising and nonprofit leadership, Kristina has partnered with local, national, and international nonprofit organizations and helped them achieve their missions through successful grant management strategies.
